Alison is a Maritime Archaeologist and has worked on high profile projects such as the London and Rooswijk on behalf of Historic England and acting as a Project Assurance Officer for several Historic England funded organisations. She is a keen diver, and a Trustee of the Nautical Archaeology Society.

Alison, whilst associated with the site for many years became the Official Coronation Wreck Project Nominated Archaeologist in autumn 2024.
