Peter started recreational diving in 1968 and attained the level of BSAC National Instructor. Amongst many voluntary roles he was the BSAC coach for the East Midlands for 3 years.
He worked at Bovisand Commercial Diving School for 20 years and has assisted on numerous maritime archaeology projects to the present day. Peter holds the HSE Part 1 Diver
and Association of Diving Contractors Off Shore Air Supervisor qualifications. Peter is the projects primary Boat and Logistics Officer.
His skills as a videographer also ensures the project outreach programme is suitably supported with high quality visual interpretive material.
